If thats the case you may find very interesting the fact that you can visit (Bocas del Toro) in Panama in 1 day.

For does that dont know, Bocas del Toro is the closest touristic region of Panama and its only 2h away from Puerto Viejo.

Its a very magical place that’s surrounded by dozens of Islands and most of the houses and buildings are on top of the water, they even have floating hotels and restaurants that makes Bocas del Toro a unique place.

Its very easy to get to Bocas del Toro from Puerto Viejo, and we offer the perfect tour combining adventure, culture and lots of fun.

We start the day at 6am picking you in your Hotel or Airbnb from where we will drive 35min to the official border of Costa Rica and Panama, a little town called Sixaola, here we will help you cross the border, for this you only need your passport.

Once we have crossed the border our driver Alvin will pick us up in a Mini Van to take us to the Almirante Port, we will first pass the by the Town of Changinola where you can see how the panamanians live on a Daily basis.

After 40 min in a mini van with AC we finally get to the Almirante Port, here we will meet with Pepe our Captain he will take us in his boat and here is, where the adventure begins.

Pepe will take us first to see Dolphins in the middle of the islands at a Place Called Dolphin Bay because of the abundance of this animals. After this we will visit Start Beach which is called like this because of all the Sea stars at this beach, here we will enjoy some beach time as well of going Snorkeling and taking pictures with all the stars.

Star beach is a beautiful white sand beach with many colorful fishes and it also has several restaurants floating in the water where you can enjoy a delicious Piña Colada.

After enjoying some beach time and Snorkeling we will finally take the boat again to head to the Main Island which is Called Isla Colon, named after Cristobal Colon because they say that its the first place he arrived when he discovered America.

ISLA COLON or how some people call it BOCAS DEL TORO ISLAND is a place full of amazing hotels and restaurants all of them floating in the water and it also has a particular infrastructure that reminds people about other sides of the world with Colorful Houses and a unique Vibe that makes this place so Special and Visited.

Once we get to the Main Island (Colon Island) here you will have 2h to go shopping, have lunch or coffee at one of the many places available.

Pepe our Captain will be picking us up again at 3pm to take us all the way back to the Border.

This is a Full Day Tour starts at 6am and back in Puerto Viejo at 5pm.
